Mother Cabrini, later the first U.S citizen canonized by the Church (predicted here), became Saint Cabrini. She founded the Sacred Heart Missionary and also orphanages and hospitals throughout the U.S. and elsewhere.

The work includes translations in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese of encomiums to her from around the world. A shorter version was also published in Rome by the Scuola Tipografica Salesiana in 1918.

Italian Catholics in the U.S. were of course proud that the first U.S. citizen to be canonized was an Italian American.
