Note that the publisher was no longer Nicoletti Bros. My guess is that when Nicoletti ceased to exist, or ceased to find it profitable to publish this work, the copyright passed to Pecorini himself, who lived to 1957, and Libreria Nuova Italia (copyright on verso of title page reading "New Italy Book Co.") was his own imprint.
