But in case there was any doubt, on the cover, the verso of the cover, and on page 2 of the sheet music itself, there is printed "copyright 1929 by Italian Book Co. 145-147 Mulberry Street - New-York. | This copy can be imported in the U.S. only by the Italian Book Co. of New-York."
A number of the business records of the IBC make clear how important a part of its business was the importing of sheet music, music rolls and even musical instruments, as well as books.
